Hello, all. I couldn’t be more pleased to welcome you to this newest chapter in my journey as an artist. That you are here to share it makes it all the more special.
I’m glad to say this has been an exceptional and satisfying year in my career: to name just a few highlights, my work has been a feature at the Albany International Airport in New York’s captial, with my 22’ x 9’ Migration House remaining on display through 2020; my newest photographical series, A Distant Embrace, debuted at the celebrated Carrie Haddad Gallery in Hudson, NY; and selections of my tower sculptures will be central to the Castles in the Sky show at New York City’s Lehman College, beginning next month.
Yet it has been a whole lifetime committed to creating art, and the Safe Passage I offer to you here represents a cross-section of my work – paintings, drawings, and sculptures – that I have never been able to fully share all at once. I will be checking in with you all regularly here on the site, inviting you in to my process, and adding new selections to choose from.
So happy you’re here, and that you are can be a part of this journey.
All my thanks. Rob
